This report explores the realities faced by girls and women with disabilities in Canada.

In general, disability research has failed to fully appreciate gender dynamics and their influence on the experience of disability. Conversely, many gender-based research initiatives have failed to include a disability lens. As such, our goal in this report is to highlight the often invisible nature of the experiences and contributions of women and girls with disabilities, and draw attention to those spaces where their inclusion is critical. - Report
